Nine Court Mansion Residential Landscape

Nine Court Mansion

Nine Court Mansion is a residential landscape design located in Chongqing, China. The project covers 11952.75 square meters and includes hard pavement, green areas and water features. The spatial layout is inspired by the structure of the Forbidden City. A central axis links three groups of spaces that guide residents from the entrance to the home. Traditional elements such as pitched roofs and dragon scales are simplified in shape and material, and carving is used instead of printing. Plant communities create a green microclimate for daily life.

Nine Court Mansion Residential Landscape by Jian'an Zhou has been featured as a creative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Nine Court Mansion Residential Landscape received the Platinum A' Design Award in Landscape Planning and Garden Design in 2020. The A' Landscape Planning and Garden Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design recognition program which recognizes excellent design of landscape designs, public parks, residential gardens, urban plazas, campus designs, green roofs, waterfront developments, Eco-Parks, botanical gardens and more.
