Fengxi Linquan
Vanke Fengxi Linquan is a residential complex built in a core urban area of Qingdao. The design gives priority to ecological living and to the urban image of the district. Each floor holds two homes of about 200 to 220 square meters, joined by a fully lit elevator hall. A shared garden appears every third floor, measuring 6.9 meters in width, 7.2 meters in depth and three floors in height, and serves six homes as a rest and meeting space. A nano thermal blanket and an eggshell insulation system protect plant roots during the cold winters and allow trees to grow on the raised soil.
Fengxi Linquan Residential Area by Tengyuan Design has been selected as an outstanding illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Fengxi Linquan Residential Area was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design in 2020. The A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award is a highly prestigious international design competition that rewards excellent design of skyscrapers, museums, residential buildings, commercial complexes, educational institutions, religious structures, infrastructure designs, landscaping projects and more.
