Run Science Park
Run Science Park is a science and technology park in Guangzhou. The complex covers 120000 square meters and joins office space, exhibition areas and flexible areas. Seventy-five percent of the space is used for offices, five percent for flexible use, five percent for exhibitions and fifteen percent for mixed use. The structure is lifted off the ground and uses interlocking and shifting forms. A sunken plaza brings daylight to the lower levels. Glass, aluminum panels and paint form the facade. The design creates an open and connected shared community.
Run Science Park Guangzhou by Atelier Global Limited has been selected as an innovative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Run Science Park Guangzhou won the Iron A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design in 2020. The A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design recognition program that rewards superior design of skyscrapers, museums, residential buildings, commercial complexes, educational institutions, religious structures, infrastructure designs, landscaping projects and more.
