M Two
M Two is a house located on the outskirts of a village on a hill in Limassol, Cyprus. The design and materials suit the natural landscape and respect traditional village house designs, with a modern aesthetic. The layout follows a traditional pi shape, which gives a calm and ergonomic flow between interior and exterior. Family and public spaces blend together, yet function independently and offer privacy where needed. Four living areas allow all aspects of the mountain and sea views to be enjoyed. The colour palette uses natural beige, brown, green and blue tones.
M Two House by Georgios Nikolaou was highlighted as an outstanding representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. M Two House won the Iron A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design in 2022. The A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design award which honors superior design of skyscrapers, museums, residential buildings, commercial complexes, educational institutions, religious structures, infrastructure designs, landscaping projects and more.
