Blue Bay Residential
Blue Bay Residential is a housing complex located in Lingshui, Hainan. The project covers a land area of 52,000 square meters, with a construction area of 25,000 square meters and 122 households. The layout follows the local tradition of scattered and porous dwellings arranged around courtyards. A space sequence of lobby, courtyard, hall and corridor forms a north-south air passage for natural ventilation. Prefabricated sloped roofs with eaves of 600 and 1800 millimeters provide shading and privacy. Horizontal lines connect the buildings with the surrounding landscape.
Blue Bay Residential Townhouse by Shen Likun has been identified as a creative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Blue Bay Residential Townhouse received the Bronze A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design in 2022. The A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design accolade that recognizes excellent design of skyscrapers, museums, residential buildings, commercial complexes, educational institutions, religious structures, infrastructure designs, landscaping projects and more.
