Wenzhou Vanke Center

Wenzhou Vanke Center is a commercial and office building in Lucheng District, Wenzhou, China. The design applies the idea of a Shan-shui city, bringing traditional Chinese elements such as bamboo, hills, streams and paths into a modern structure. Ceramic plates, aluminium sheets and printed glass form the facade, with a lighting waterfall, stone-shaped steps and aluminium bamboo forms. A waterfront square and large steps link the shops to nearby parks, and trees on the east side reduce noise. A running track on the top floor offers space for exercise and rest.

Wenzhou Vanke Center Commerce and Office Building by FENG CHENG was recognized as an outstanding illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Wenzhou Vanke Center Commerce and Office Building earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design in 2022.
