Posto P10
Posto P10 is a gas station located in Manaus, Brazil. The project is the remodeling of an existing station, carried out to apply a unified brand image. The canopy spans 40 meters in the longitudinal direction and 11 meters in the transversal direction, with no intermediate supports. Two eccentric legs made of metal and reinforced concrete carry the main structure. A translucent ceiling admits daylight from above, and artificial lighting is used at night. The open layout allows a smooth flow of vehicles and pedestrians across the site.
Posto P10 Fuel Sales by Juan Eugenio Mallo Camera has been featured as an outstanding example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Posto P10 Fuel Sales was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design in 2021. The A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design prize which rewards exceptional design of skyscrapers, museums, residential buildings, commercial complexes, educational institutions, religious structures, infrastructure designs, landscaping projects and more.
