Impression Nanxi River

The designer seems want to present his project with local culture elements. We can feel some regional features and humanistic methods through the works. Chinese culture is mysterious and the history is quite long. How to express the real eastern aesthetic design in a right way is still a precious thing we should take care of. Malangen

The Malangen retreat explores in particular the values of the different activities in everyday life through the interaction between spaces and functions. Each function and activity have been organised in separate volumes which are connected by in-between spaces. These in-between spaces have a primary function of separating activities and spaces, but also symbolises a journey between each activity. The main goal of the design is to bring to light values that are often forgotten in a hectic life and also highlight the connection and respect to the nature around us.

Cloud Park

How to design a high quality urban space, redefine the image of a “landmark” building, while maintaining cultural tradition of Xixi wetland spirits, is the major challenge of this project. Four L-shaped slab buildings with large openings are used to encircling the site due to the landscape cross. The internal building volumes are modeled on the traditional wetland settlement pattern. It ensures the maximum utilization of landscape resources. Reasonable structures present a non-conventional visual impression, making the buildings a group of futuristic city sculptures.

The reception center is mainly for business purpose, so the owner hopes itsshape and stylewill be eye-catching by using the play of materials and lights in design. Water is the theme in this case. The architectural design conveys the relation of water, architecture and nature by a transparent concept.

The Curtain

The design of this project has an unique approach to use the Metal Mesh as the solution for practical and aesthetics purpose. The translucent Metal Mesh creates a layer of curtain which can blur the boundary between indoor and outdoor space- the gray space. The depth of space created by the translucent curtain creates a rich level of spatial quality. The polished stainless steel Metal Mesh varies under different weather conditions and different period of a day. The reflection and translucency of the Mesh with elegant landscape creates a calm Chinese style ZEN space.

Black Eagle

The scenery surrounding Selva of Val Gardena, Italy creates some of the most picturesque landscapes in the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites, projecting imagery that is mostly seen in oil canvas paintings. The project encompasses modern and traditional alpine architecture, marrying each type into one cohesive form. The strong use of local materials grounds the house onto the site merging it with the landscape. Each material has its own unique texture to match the earthy colors and natural surroundings. The house was constructed according to high energy efficiency standards.
